An angler’s dream
Kamchatka offers fishing for 6 spesies of salmon, Arctic and White-spotted char, King Salmon, Sockeye Salmon, Chum Salmon, Pink Salmon, Silver Salomon. Along Kamchatka shores stocks of Alaska mackerel, navaga, herring, flounders, capelin are still abundant as well as the stocs of their interesting marine fishes.
For catching Pacific salmon fishing at spinning and in fly fishing gear is most effective. The fish is perfectly caught with the spoon-bait firms Blue-Fox and Mepps, Kuusamo, wobblers Rapala and other baits which stably work on the moderate and strong current. On territory of Kamchatka the legislation on catching valuable species of fish operates. License catching is resolved strictly at the pointed time, but it does not prevent to take pleasure with unique nature and excellent vacation.

Chinook, masu, coho and other species of anadromous Pacific salmon are wonderful targets for real fly-fishermen and spinning anglers.
Dolly varden char, rainbow trout, white-spotted char are very interesting for sport fishermen, they ‘ll become remarkable trophies for those who prefer to use spinning or fly-fishing gear.
Rainbow trout, chars, smalt and herring are very active in winter time. Ice fishermen’ll have a lot of good time angling them.
Fishing is realized on “catch and release” principe.
Anglers must have a valid sport fishing license and a tour operator can acquire this from the fisheries enforcement agency Ribvod. Operators’ll assist you in taking measurements and photographing you with your catch before releasing it back to river.
