Route 4.

"Volcano"

During this tour you will visit the unique place of Kamchatka – the active volcano Avachinsky, which is the most beautiful volcano in Kamchatka.

Day 1: Meeting at the airport. Transfer to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky (25 km). Accommodation in the hotel, resting, walking along the town.
Day 2: Transportation by track to the volcano Avachinsky (45 km). Hiking along the mountain  peaks of Koryaksky volcano. Dinner and supper are in the camp. Overnight in log cabins.
Day 3: Breakfast in the camp, snack lunch - on the slope of volcano. Ascending to Avachinsky volcano (2749) along the young cone where it is opened a splendid view. Petropavlovsk-Kamchatky, Elizovo, the valley of the river Avacha and Avacha bay, volcanoes Viluchinsky, Mutnovsky and Gorely – are on the south. There is a massive cone of Koryaksky volcano in the west and the valley of the river Nalychevo and Zhupanovsky and Dzenzur volcanoes to the north. Ascend time is 6-8 hours. Return to the recreation base. Resting and bathing in the pool with thermal water.

It’s advisable to have: ammunition, a knapsack, a sleeping bag, sleeping mat, firm boots, washing items, bathing suit.
This route is ideally combined with any kind fishing tour.
